Freshman Dorms

As a freshman back in 2008-09, I lived in Miller Hall, which is one of the seven dorms that house freshman students at Trinity University.  All seven freshman dorms are located near Mabee Dining Hall and the Witt Computer Center on the east side of campus.  The other dorms for freshman students are Witt, Winn, McLean, Herndon, Calvert, and Beze.  The residence halls all have  different Resident Mentors that are there to help students with any questions or problems, and to ensure students are acting appropriately and responsibly.  The dorms house both men and women.  The dorms feature large closets with clothing rods and shelving, mini-blinds that cover the windows for privacy, and built-in desks with shelving and drawers.  These dorms also include mini-fridges, as well as a microwaves in each room.  Additionally, the dorms contain laundry rooms for the students.  McLean, which houses freshman on the first floor, allows for access to its roof, which contains a deck and outdoor furniture, and features balconies that are shared with wallmates.  On the first floor of Beze, there is a game room equipped with a television and small kitchen.  Beze also contains a large computer lab for the students.  Witt and Winn also feature kitchens, as well as study lounges on the third floors, and have an elevator.
